The Good Morning Britain star's husband was admitted to the ICU in March after he contracted Covid-19, The Daily Mirror reports.
Kate and her family joined in the weekly clap for carers event at 8pm on Thursday outside their house.
The 52-year-old was seen on camera banging a saucepan and smiling to show her appreciation.
