Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway has revealed her husband Derek Draper is still "terribly affected" from his battle with Covid-19.
The presenter was telling co-star Ben Shepard about the recent developments in his long health journey.
Former lobbyist Derek is one of the longest affected Covid patients in the UK.
His body has been ravaged by the virus as it has led to kidney failure, damage to his liver and pancreas and heart failure.

As reported in The Mirror, Derek has severe long-term effects and a suffered a series of health problems since his diagnosis.
This includes multiple organ failure and clots on his lung, and he continues to battle back to health almost two years on.
Kate is releasing a new documentary, Caring For Derek, as a follow-up to her award winning documentary Finding Derek, focussing on Derek's condition and his recovery, which airs next week.
She revealed the challenges her husband still faces, while confessing she doesn't know if Derek is affected mentally, while she "would have thought" there would be some impact.
Kate addressed the idea that Covid-19 is still seen as a respiratory disease, despite the other challenges those with long Covid face, as she realised how Derek's body is still impacted from the virus nearly two years on.
