Philadelphia Union boss Jim Curtin has set Kai Wagner a deadline to agree a new contract with Rangers on red alert.
Philippe Clement kicked off his January business by snapping up Fabio Silva from Wolves but they look far from done with their activity in the winter window with additions at full-back next on the agenda. He said: “There is an offer out for him and it was very much appreciated what we offered. There is no decision until that. I’m just waiting for the feedback.
"I won’t tell you the deadline, but it will be soon. The question is for Kai is whether he wants to seek the challenge in Europe or if we wants to stay here and pursue his career in MLS. That’s what he needs to decide.”
