Julee Cruise, known for her frequent collaborations with director David Lynch, has sadly passed away.
Her husband Edward Grinnan confirmed the news in a post to social media on Friday (June 10), per The Guardian.

“She left this realm on her own terms. No regrets,” he wrote on Facebook. “She is at peace.”
Edward added, “I played her [B-52’s song] ‘Roam’ during her transition. Now she will roam forever. Rest in peace, my love.”
Julee began working with David in 1986 for his feature film Blue Velvet, when he recruited her to sing “Mysteries of Love” for the movie.
They worked together again for her debut album Floating into the Night and Julee contributed vocals for Twin Peak‘s songs “Into the Night” and “The Nightingale,” as well as the show’s theme “Falling.”
She went on to collaborate with a number of other artists as well, including Moby, the Welsh electronic music group Hybrid, former members of Deee-Lite, Pharrell Williams, Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore and more.
