After all, the Italian giants were heavy favourites to overcome the Finnish side in the Europa League group stage encounter.
But the 3-0 win at the Stadio Olimpico achieved a little bit of history for their manager, the former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese is now the manager with the joint-most victories in European club competitions since the birth of the Champions League in 1992.

The person he drew level with on Thursday night is his former United predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson. According to Transfermarkt, the triumph over HJK in the Europa League saw the Portuguese coach move level with United legend Ferguson with 106 victories.
Responding to a post on Instagram, Mourinho gave a typical reaction to the news. He simply posted the emoji of a face with a finger covering its lips - one of his trademark poses on the touchline down the years.
Mourinho has lifted five major European trophies. He won the Champions League with both Porto (2004) and Inter Milan (2010), the UEFA Cup/Europa League with Porto (2003) and United (2017) and last season saw him complete the hat-trick when Roma lifted the inaugural Europa Conference League. He can go in front as the clear leader with a win in Roma's next group game which is on October 6 at home to Real Betis.
