Jonnie Irwin praised as he gives update on 'exciting new project' amid cancer battle

Jonnie Irwin, who last year revealed that he is living with a terminal lung cancer diagnosis, has shown off his "exciting new project" as he gets to work renovating his home. The TV presenter shared a post to Instagram as he discussed his plans for the house.
He wrote: "A couple of days late posting this but I promised to be honest with my posts about this renovation- warts n all’ #reno" In a video, he added: "It's the morning of day one of the renovation of the front of the house." Showing his house in the background, Jonnie continued: "So as you can see, it's not the prettiest of houses.The plan is to put some different design windows in there." Continuing to share his plans he added at it will greatly improve both the "look of the house" and that the renovation will create more space inside too. Jonnie said that although it's only "early days" in the process he's "so excited" to be working on the renovation project.
Fans were quick to praise the star, with one writing: "Property is what you do best apart from being super dad of course - can’t wait to see the results." "It’s going to be fabulous Jonnie .. can’t wait to see the finished result" added another.
