Here at Billboard, we've been excited about J.S. Ondara for some time; the Kenya-born, Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter possesses a downright gorgeous voice, gripping songwriting chops, and an excellent debut album to his name -- 2019's Tales of America, nominated for best Americana album at the 2020 Grammys.

If you didn’t get your full fix of Big Little Lies after the lacklustre season two then worry not.

Somewhere in the mesmerizing string arrangements, the breathless ballads played without words being sung and Max Richter's tragic, history-based reasonings for each song, it's easy for NPR Tiny Desk Concert viewers to get lost in the office space around them and be transported to an emotional space Richter delivers them to in a new performance released Wednesday (Jan. 22).

Thundercat has announced a new album titled It Is What It Is, set to be released April 3 via Brainfeeder Records. The follow-up to 2017’s Drunk features collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, Childish Gambino, Lil B, Kamasi Washington, Steve Lacy, Steve Arrington, BADBADNOTGOOD, Louis Cole, Zack Fox, and Flying Lotus.

For its third of programming at Sundance, the MACRO Lodge will host panels, screenings and conversations with talent that includes Issa Rae, Kerry Washington, Zazie Beetz and America Ferrera, among others.Running from Jan 24 to Jan 27, the lodge is hosted by MACRO founder and ceo Charles D.
