Johnny Depp and Amber Heard‘s divorce will be the subject of a new Discovery+ docuseries, it was announced this weekend.

The new Discovery+ documentary series Johnny vs Amber will look at the breakdown of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s two-year marriage — and the messy legal battle that followed.

contentious divorce is getting the documentary treatment.A two-part series is heading to Discovery+ and will be titled “Johnny vs. Amber,” and will hit the streaming service later this year.Depp, 58, and Heard, 35, were married from 2015 until 2017, and have been embroiled in a lengthy court battle.

“Through the tapes, home videos and text messages shown in court, these films give viewers a rare and important insight into a marriage that went tragically wrong, and to better understand the hugely important issue of domestic violence,” Horny said in a statement.The series, which will be available on Discovery+ later this year, is executive produced by Hornby and Fran Baker for Optomen.
