Joe Swash has said that he is "fighting a losing battle" with his wife, Stacey Solomon, over their plans for more children.
The couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at their home, Pickle Cottage, last year before welcoming their third child together, daughter Belle, in February of this year. However, 41 year old Joe has explained that he and Stacey are in a battle when it comes to having more children. In an interview with Closer magazine, the EastEnders legend said that he and Stacey need to "put a cap" on the amount of children that they have.
Together, the sweet couple share baby Belle, son Rex, four, and daughter Rose, who is 23 months.
Joe is also dad to 16 year old Harry from a previous relationship, and Stacey, 33, is mum to Leighton, 11, and Zachary, 15, with previous partners. In the interview, Joe said: "We love our family unit and all our kids. But we’ve got to put a cap in it somewhere.
I think six is a good number. I think the snip could be on the cards." However, he added: "I’m trying to fight it, but it’s a losing battle – Stacey keeps telling me it’s reversible, and that’s a big hint!" Joe and Stacey met while they were filming the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here spin-off show, and they began dating in 2015. After four years together, they had their first child, Rex, and they haven't looked back since, with them welcoming their two daughters.
With Belle, Stacey kept her pregnancy a secret until just weeks before she was due to give birth. Earlier this year, in a chat with OK!, Joe admitted that they are just "addicted" to having children. He told us: "The baby bit goes so fast, and then before you know it, they’re toddlers – then you yearn for babies again.
