Joe Henderson, Matt Owens & Georgia Lee Ink First-Look Deal With Netflix For New Writers Collective

John Hopewell Chief International CorrespondentMauricio Ochmann, one of the biggest stars in the Latino world, has signed a multiyear first look deal with Pantaya, the leading premium Spanish-language streaming service.Under the terms of the deal, actor-producer Ochmann will develop and executive produce a slate of original films and TV series for the company.

Antoine Fuqua has entered into a first-look partnership with Netflix, continuing his relationship with the studio after the highly-successful drama The Guilty starring Jake Gyllenhaal. In addition to directing, the deal will focus primarily on films, documentary features. Fuqua also announced the renaming of his production company to Hill District Media, previously titled Fuqua Films. The new name emphasizes his background and roots that translate to his work on the screen.
