Described by Biden’s campaign as “historic” and the “most successful political fundraiser in American history,” the event is set to raise more than $25 million. Mindy Kaling will host the event, which includes musical performances by Queen Latifah, Lizzo, Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo and Lea Michele.
More than 5,000 people are anticipated to show up at the iconic venue, with donations ranging from $225 to $500,000. First Lady Jill Biden will kick off the evening, which leads up to an armchair conversation with the president, Obama and Clinton moderated by “The Late Show”‘s Stephen Colbert. Additionally, Biden-Harris campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez will lead a grassroots virtual conversation with Biden, Obama and Clinton.
Photographer Annie Liebovitz will be taking portraits of the highest-paying donors alongside the presidents.
