Joao Cancelo has once again reiterated his desire to stay at Barcelona amid his uncertain Manchester City future.
The defender spent last season on loan in La Liga but is under contract at the Etihad until 2027. Cancelo appears to have little chance of resurrecting his City career after an acrimonious exit in January 2023, when he was sent out on loan to Bayern Munich.

Guardiola opened the door to a City U-turn last week by stating Cancelo would be part of City's pre-season squad if his future was not resolved before that, even though the player's preference seems clear. Any decision on what happens with the 30-year-old is expected to be after Portugal's Euro 2024 campaign comes to an end.
Asked on the eve of the tournament about his future, with Barcelona keen to re-sign him next season, Cancelo said: "It created a certain uncertainty [previous speculation over his future] when I was off, but, from the first day
