Regé-Jean Page, one of the breakout stars from Netflix's hot Regency drama, will not be returning for season 2 as the Duke of Hastings, it was announced Friday on Twitter via a message from the Ton's gossip maven.

The Duke is gone. Regé-Jean Page, who became a global heartthrob as the dashing Duke of Hastings in Season 1 of Bridgerton, will not be part of Season 2 of Shondaland’s hit Netflix series.
