Batman Begins star Jo Martin has been unveiled as the first black Doctor Who.
The actress was first seen in Sunday’s episode of the British TV show, appearing as a previous incarnation of the Time Lord as she met Jodie Whittaker, who currently plays the Doctor in the much-loved programme.
Fans were left questioning whether or not Jo’s appearance meant she would be taking over from Jodie as The Doctor, with show boss Chris Chibnall putting any speculation to rest as he told the Daily Mirror
