1 after a long battle with skin cancer. Buffett’s “Songs You Know by Heart: Jimmy Buffett’s Greatest Hit(s),” narrowly surged onto the Billboard 200 at No. 100 in the year it was released.
Now at No. 4, “Greatest Hit(s)” sold the equivalent of 52,000 albums in the latest tracking week (per Luminate) and is the country-laced pop singer’s 13th top 10-charting album. The set includes “Margaritaville,” Buffett’s only top 10-charting single (No.
8 in 1977). Bryan’s self-titled sophomore set with Warner Records keeps its grip at No. 1 with 115,000 sales and a strong push in streaming.
In the last week, Bryan earned his first Hot 100 No. 1 — his duet with Kacey Musgraves, “I Remember Everything” — and first No. 1 album while simultaneously appearing in the news over his brief arrest in Oklahoma for interfering with a traffic stop.
He was also on the receiving end of social media criticism over high ticket prices for his 2024 “Quittin’ Time” tour which finds him returning to Ticketmaster — although not exclusively — after touring last year without using the controversial service. Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing at a Time,” Travis Scott’s “Utopia” and Taylor Swift’s “Midnights,” and SZA’s “SOS” — all former long-standing No. 1s — are on the list at No.
2, No. 3, No. 5 and No.
6 respectively. The “Barbie” soundtrack is at No. 7, Peso Pluma’s “Génesis” is at No.
8 and both Swift and Wallen round out the top 10 with “Lover” at No. 9 and “Dangerous: The Double Album” at No. 10.
