She alleges that Minaj and her associates have repeatedly reached out to her and to her family, trying to get her to issue a statement denying that the sexual assault occurred.

A spokeswoman for the Queens district attorney’s office told the Times that Petty was arrested and charged with first-degree rape, ultimately pleading guilty to attempted rape and serving four and a half years in prison.
