Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne are starring in the upcoming Netflix thriller The Good Nurse and the streamer has released the first photos from the movie.
The film, directed by Another Round writer Tobias Lindholm, is based on a true story.
“Suspicious that her colleague is responsible for a series of mysterious patient deaths, a nurse risks her own life to uncover the truth in this gripping thriller based on true events,” Netflix said in the official description.

The movie is about the true story of serial killer nurse Charles Cullen, played by Eddie. He confessed to killing up to 40 people and is suspected of murdering as many as 400 patients by administering lethal doses of insulin and other drugs. Jessica plays his co-worker Amy Loughren, who grew suspicious of Charles and led the detectives to his capture.
“I wanted to acknowledge someone like Amy. She’s the kind of superhero that I want to celebrate, because they’re everywhere,” Jessica told Vanity Fair.
The Good Nurse, also starring Nnamdi Asomugha and Noah Emmerich, will be released on Netflix later this year.
