Love Island star Jessica Hayes has hit back at criticism and claims of "wasting NHS time" after she was taken to hospital for an infection. The star had recently visited a nail bar and was suffering from increased pain and swelling in her finger after having false nails fitted. Jess, 28, who is mum to two year old Presley, explained the reason she went to the hospital was because she noticed the pain was getting worse and spreading. After initially starting in her cuticle it became to spread and was causing shooting pains in her arm.
Doctors diagnosed an infection, and Jessica was hooked up to drip and needed antibiotics to fight it. However some people on social media have cruelly accused her of wasting the NHS’ time.The former Love Islander responded in an Instagram story featuring a series of positive comments she’d received, that reassured her that she had done the right thing by seeking medical attention.
