Jordan Moreau After sitting out “Scream 6,” franchise star Neve Campbell has announced her return in the seventh movie. “Sidney Prescott is coming back!!!!” Campbell posted on Instagram. “It’s always been such a blast and an honor to get to play Sidney in the Scream movies.

While it wasn’t a commercial for the sequel, per se, during the Oscars ceremony this past weekend, there was a mini “Beetlejuice” reunion as co-stars Michael Keaton and Catharine O’Hara (“Schitt’s Creek”) presented together for Best Makeup and Hairstyling; a category their film won back in 1989. The duo are also part of the cast of Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice 2,” and Keaton was raving about the sequel when he spoke with SiriusXM’s “The Jess Cagle Show” this week.

Alongside actresses like Jenna Ortega, Aussie actress Samara Weaving (“Ready or Not,” “The Babysitter,” franchise, “Scream VI”) is one of the modern scream queens. And it doesn’t hurt that the horror genre is as popular as ever, making these actresses increasingly popular for making scary pics.

Michael Keaton reprised his role of Beetlejuice in the upcoming Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and just revealed he saw a cut of the sequel.
