Jason Byrne is thankfully on the mend after a gruelling couple of weeks and shared his recovery update on social media.
The comedian caused concern among fans when he suddenly cancelled a string of gigs and announced that he was undergoing heart surgery after suffering chest pains while out for a run last month.
Now Jason is recovering in hospital and has confessed that his cholesterol is to blame for causing problems with his heart which left Byrne needing several life-saving stents.
