Jamie Carragher has explained the biggest issue facing Erik ten Hag when he joins Manchester United at the end of the season.
Ten Hag was announced as the new manager of the Reds on Thursday after weeks of speculation regarding when he would be officially appointed. The current Ajax boss will join at the end of the season until 2025, with a further year's extension possible.
United are currently underperforming in the Premier League and sit sixth, three points off the Champions League spots as we head into the latter stages of the season. With a seemingly big challenge ahead to return success to Old Trafford, Carragher has explained what the biggest issue is which Ten Hag needs to rectify.

Commenting during a Sky Sports Q&A, Carragher said: "Getting good players and getting some out. It's not rocket science, if he can get two or three signings right, move two or three players on who are maybe causing problems or don't suit his way of playing.
"He'll revitalise some players and he'll probably have to add three or four players to the starting XI. No team is as bad or as far away from success as you think, I know that from experience with Liverpool."
It is expected that United will have a busy summer with incomings and outgoings. Nemanja Matic will be leaving the club while Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard are expected to depart.
