James Martin has given fans a rare glimpse into his health journey during Monday's episode of Lorraine, where he also debuted an unexpected accessory on TV for the first time. Chatting with Lorraine Kelly about his successful tour, which was seven years in the making, the conversation turned to his current wellbeing.
Lorraine, 64, enquired: "Things are good? Everything is good right now?" James, 51, responded with positive news: "Yes, the stitches have fallen out, as you know, the last time you were on, I was in the middle of operations. As we speak, the stitches have fallen out of my body at the moment and that's all clear, onwards and upwards!" Lorraine expressed her joy, saying: "I'm really pleased, it's great great news!" James has been open about his battle with facial cancer and the surgeries he has had.
