This Morning fans had to do a 'double take' on Tuesday (Dec 12) as they mistook a new presenter for Holly Willoughby. Viewers of the ITV programme tuned in for their latest fix of showbiz and current affairs to see a different face at the helm - who they said resembled former host Holly.
It comes as the TV show has been subjected to a revolving door of presenters ever since Holly quit her role in October this year. Having presented the show since 2009, she made the decision to quit for 'her and her family's' sake, telling fans: "It's been an honour to just be part of its story and I know this story has many chapters left to go. Sadly, however, I now feel I have to make this decision for me and my family."
The programme was thrown into chaos earlier this year when Phil also resigned following rumours of a 'feud' with his co-star Holly. The 61-year-old quit the show, and stepped back from ITV altogether, after admitting to an "unwise but not illegal affair with a younger male colleague".

Since both the presenters' exits, a whole host of famous faces have stepped in to front the show, including Rylan Clark, Rochelle Humes, Josie Gibson, Alison Hammond and most recently, former Big Brother host Emma Willis and Loose Women star Christine Lampard.
On Tuesday, another star joined Dermot to host the show - former The Saturdays star Mollie King - who last presented the show in July 2022 alongside Craig Doyle. Introducing Mollie, Dermot said: "Nice to see you again, how are you?," as he gave her a hug.
But as the show aired, fans were quick to take to X,
