It saw children sing on stage while the judges backs were turned, and if a judge liked what they heard, they would push a button for their chair to turn round. The Sun reports that ITV made the decision as talent shows have been on the decline in recent years.
ITV confirmed that it is shelving The Voice Kids, but said that The Voice - the adult version - is still going ahead in 2024. We’re working with Lifted Entertainment on The Voice UK for 2024 and development of The Voice branded specials." Two of The Voice Kids judges, Danny Jones and Pixie Lott both found stardom at a young age, making them perfect to coach some of the young talent on the show.
Danny, 37, is the lead singer of McFly, which hit the big time when he was just 17.They produced some massive hits such as All About You and Star Girl. Pixie Lott, 32, found fame at the tender age of 16, and she's loved for hit tracks such as All About Tonight and Cry Me Out. The star will have her hands full next year, as she will have welcomed her first child, after announcing in June that she's pregnant.
