ITV Love Island fans cringe over Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard's very awkward reunion

Maura Higgins had a very 'awkward' reunion with her ex, Curtis Pritchard, on Love Island Games after he was the third contestant to be sent packing from the villa. Maura, who first shot to fame on the 2019 series of Love Island, is currently the social media ambassador for the spin-off show.
Love Island Games brings together 26 former Islanders from both the UK and international versions of the show for 'another shot at love', taking part in a bunch of fun challenges.
The show, hosted by Maya Jama, was filmed in sunny Fiji and kicked off on November 1. Curtis, 27, is the latest star to be dumped from the spin-off, following Lisa Celander from Swedish Love Island and Steph Blackos from the French series.
But things got a tad more uncomfortable for Curtis when he had to do an exit interview with Maura, his ex-girlfriend from the 2019 series of Love Island.
The pair called it quits in 2020 after just seven months together, with Maura revealing that she no longer saw Curtis as her 'future husband.' In the tense exchange, Maura is tasked with getting Curtis to open up about his experience inside the villa in the aftermath of his eviction. "Long time no see, Curtis," the 32 year old says, prompting the former Dancing With the Stars contestant to laugh.
After exchanging social pleasantries, Maura gets down to the nitty gritty of her ex-fling's time on Love Island Games. "It's a bit weird to be out," Curtis told her, before revealing he's "gutted" to have left so early and wishes he was "still in" the contest.
