ITV Lorraine in wardrobe blunder as Christine Lampard brushes off awkward moment

ITV's Lorraine suffered a huge on-air blunder during Friday's edition of the show. Presenter Christine Lampard, who had stepped in for host Lorraine Kelly, was joined by former Glamour editor Jo Elvin during a fashion segment when the slip up occurred.
The pair were showing viewers how to recreate celebrity style on a budget as Jo selected outfits from a string of A-list stars. Discussing an outfit worn by Helen Mirren, Jo gave a run-down of the estimated cost - which came to an eye-watering £11,510 - and suggested swapping designer items for high street duplicates.
Welcoming model Sharon into the studio, she said: "I’m going to show you Sharon, looking almost the same in something really fabulous." Jo's version, which included clothing from places like Primark and Asda, came to a much cheaper total of £166. However, when viewers were shown a side by side comparison of the two looks, an image of Amal Clooney in a green dress was used instead of Helen. Christine and Jo complimented the look, saying it was "so impressive", as Amal's image remained on the screen.
Neither addressed the glitch and simply carried on with their next look from Jennifer Aniston. Christine has been stepping in for Lorraine on Fridays, with the star taking some time off due to her mum being unwell. Lorraine previously hit back at a Twitter account that monitors her appearances on screen.
The account in question, entitled Where is Lorraine? using the handle @LorraineKWatch, describes itself as a “satire account tracking Lorraine Kelly's attendance”.
