After backing celebrity chef Fred Sirieix for over two weeks of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, fans were glad to finally see the back of him when he became the third celebrity to be eliminated from the show. The 51 year Frenchman followed hot on the heels of Frankie Dettori and Nella Rose, as he became the latest celebrity to have his dreams of claiming the jungle crown snatched away.
The elimination comes after a clear change in public opinion over the last few days, after Fred had been locked in a tense feud with fellow campmate Josie Gibson since she was appointed camp chef in his place.
Things then went on to escalate further, during the most recent task -when it appeared fans had grown tired of his bossy and demanding attitude, something hosts Ant and Dec even commented on, as they cheekily branded the star “high maintenance” during one segment link. Following his elimination, fans didn't hold back as they took to social media to share their thoughts, with one viewer writing: "Fred’s popularity has taken a massive nosedive over the last few days.
He went in well liked and favoured and is leaving like a bad smell."
