There was an emotional moment on Good Morning Britain on Friday as a young boy who travelled almost 700 miles alone to flee Ukraine was seen safely with his family.
Earlier this week the youngster, named Hasan, was hailed a 'hero' after it was revealed he fled his homeland alone with only a backpack, his passport and a phone number scrawled in ink on his hand.
The 11-year-old managed to reach the Slovakian border on his own and images showed him being given a hot drink and support by border officials after he travelled almost the entire width of the country.

Sam was soon reunited with his family but it was said that his mother Júlia Pisecká, a widow, remained in their hometown of Zaporizhzhia, and the number allowed someone to contact relatives to collect him and take him to safety.
On Friday, Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard were able to speak to Hasan on GMB as he was surrounded by his siblings in Bratislava.
Through his sister, Luna, Hasan was able to tell the hosts and viewers watching at home how it felt when he was reunited with his siblings after his long journey from the war-torn country after Russia invaded Ukraine at the end of last month.
"He says the most important is to be in the place where he has family,' his older sister said, translating Hassan's words.
"He likes this city because it's safe. He doesn't know about the future because he doesn't know about the situation in Ukraine. He is not thinking about the future, he just wants to be with us."
She also said of the efforts Hassan had to go through: "It is unbelievable. We are always helping him because he is the smallest. It is hard."
