Good Morning Britain viewers shared in Richard Madeley's surprise as they discussed Jan Leeming's age. The TV presenter and newsreader joined the presenter and co-host Kate Garraway live on the ITV news programme to talk about a 'horrid' mugging ordeal she recently suffered.
Jan, who appeared in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2006, recently took to social media to share how she had been mugged by a masked man in a "sleepy little village'' in France. She tweeted last month: "Horrid experience. Attacked close to ATM friends were using. Youngish man seemed pleasant held out hand. Like a first rate idiot being courteous I took it.
"Rugby tackled to ground. Bag was over my arm – he didn’t get it." She added: "Was amazed at how clever are these b*****ds. Thought it strange he wore a mask but assumed he was a vulnerable person. It was horrid but well orchestrated with a getaway car. My head was very close to oncoming car."

"You've told our researchers you're more than happy for us to say how old you are," Richard, 66, said as Jan confirmed: "Yes!" Richard continued: "And I find this... I almost think you're winding us up... you're 80!
"And what's significant about that and the way you look - which is incredible - and the fact that you didn't break any bones... you hit the ground
