Ranvir Singh has quit her role as political editor on Good Morning Britain a source has confirmed. The 44-year-old TV presenter and journalist left her political role in December but will remain as one of the regular presenters on the morning news and talk show. Ranvir joined the ITV programme during its launch in 2014 as features correspondent.

Adil Ray aimed a dig at the government as a minister failed to show for an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister is still hitting the headlines amid the latest claims he had a birthday celebration inside No 10 during the first lockdown.
It comes amid a string of party allegations while the country was under some of the strictest coronavirus restrictions.
The latest allegations emerged on Monday when Downing Street was forced to admit that Downing Street staff "gathered briefly" in the Cabinet Room following a meeting after it was alleged 30 people attended and shared cake despite social mixing indoors being banned.

ITV News reported the Prime Minister’s wife, Carrie Johnson, had organised the surprise get-together complete with a chorus of “happy birthday” on the afternoon of June 19, 2020.
The number of allegations now total at least 19 separate events.
Shortly after GMB began this morning Adil, who is presenting the ITV show alongside Susanna Reid, told viewers that the programme didn’t have a minister ready to appear to answer questions.
"We’re hearing this morning, as often happens when there’s a big news story around for the government, when they’ve got their backs to the wall and they need to answer questions – is that they disappear," Adil began.
"So we are hearing that we may well not get a government minister this morning despite being a national breakfast show that has a predominantly Midlands and North-based audience as well, so the fact that the ministers are ignoring a big section of the UK this morning I think is very telling."
