Celebrity Big Brother star Fern Britton has opened up about her time on the show and the moment that left her "distraught". She was eliminated in fifth place on Friday night, leaving Louis Walsh, David Potts, Colson Smith and Nikita Kuzmin to compete for the title. During the live final, hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best asked her about her experiences in the house.
They quizzed her about her disagreements with co-stars Ekin-Su Culculoglu, Nikita Kuzmin and Louis Walsh.
Fern had a heated exchange with Ekin-Su during a nominations twist, which left viewers shocked. She also had occasional spats with Louis, and a disagreement with Nikita in the final week led to her being booed by the audience during Tuesday's eviction show. Now, Fern has spoken out, admitting there was a misunderstanding with one of the stars.
She also said another cast mate was "right" to call her out, but insists there are no hard feelings, reports the Mirror. Fern opened up about her time with Nikita, saying, "I think we misunderstood each other, I misunderstood him then he misunderstood me and it's all good now, he's fantastic." She also shared her feelings about having to say goodbye to Louis, admitting she felt "distraught" and "rotten" When it came to Ekin-Su, Fern revealed that being nominated by her actually gave her the confidence to return the favour. She explained, "Ekin-Su had been before me and nominated me and I thought...
she was right. She didn't feel like we communicated or that we got each other, she was absolutely right." Fern also discussed a misunderstanding with Nikita, where she felt he saw her as old. In an awkward conversation, she told him, "You and I get on alright when we're playing games.
