Mum-of-22 Sue Radford has bravely described her experience of giving birth for the first time at just 13-years-old as she admitted it was "absolutely horrendous". The 22 Kids and Counting star and her husband Noel, open up about her experience of pregnancy as a teen in their first-ever book, The Radfords: Making Life Count . The proud mum of 22, whose kids were born ''all natural'', gave birth to the couple's first child, Christopher, now 34, back in 1989.
Now, she's revealed how she had to be cut, but the midwife hadn't numbed her enough. Noel recalled the horrifying sound of pain as Sue admitted that it made her ironically think she'd never have more children. Sue , 48, said: "I needed stitches and could feel the needle going in and the thread coming out.
I can still hear the noises associated with it all. It was absolutely terrible''. Hubby Noel shared a gruesome analogy as he described the experience.
He said: "If anyone has ever cut through bacon rind with an old pair of scissors, it was like that - the noise. It was just awful.'' Sue vowed to not fall pregnant again after the 'horrendous' ordeal but four years later, they welcomed their second child, daughter Sophie, and still went on to have 20 more children. Sue said: "At that moment, I just thought, 'Right, that's it.
I NEVER want to have any more children. I can't go through all this again'.'' Their youngest child, daughter Heidi, will celebrate her fourth birthday in April.
The couple, who are famous for being the parents of the UK's largest family, have previously confessed that fame is not their "comfort zones", maintaining they're 'shy' individuals. Known for sharing their whirlwind life on Channel 5's 22 Kids and Counting, readers now have the opportunity
