'It cost thousands to prep my body for Love Island - here's what I spent it on'

With the latest series of Love Island underway, a new crop of contestants have entered the new Majorcan villa in an attempt to find love. And while cameras may have been rolling for less than a week, it takes a lot longer to prepare for the show, according to former contestant Rosie Williams. Rosie, 30, rose to fame when she appeared as a bombshell in the 2018 series and quickly won over fellow Islander Adam Collard.
After spending over two weeks coupled up together, Rosie had her heart broken when Adam’s head was turned by newcomer Zara McDermott. Despite showing Adam what he was missing with a raunchy photoshoot with Megan Barton Hanson, Rosie was dumped from the villa on day 20. Here, she tells OK! how she got Love Island ready… “I applied for the show at the end of April and within 24 hours the producers were on the phone to me, telling me that they were interested in my application.

From then on, everything I did was with Love Island in mind.The first thing I did was amp up my exercise routine and start going to the gym every day. I also started to eat better so that I wouldn’t feel bloated if I entered the villa. At the beginning of May, I was 80% sure that I’d be appearing on the show.
I started to do some shopping and began figuring out what beauty prep I needed getting done if I was going to be away for eight weeks. I immediately thought of previous holidays I’d been on where I’d found shaving every day really annoying. I
