Interpol add US dates to 2024 ‘Antics’ 20th anniversary tour

Ellise Shafer Charli XCX delivered the ultimate “Partygirl” set at Glastonbury Festival on Friday night, bringing out Robyn for a performance of “With Every Heartbeat,” as well as Romy, from indie rock band the xx, who remixed Robyn’s iconic millennial anthem “Dancing on My Own.” Charli’s latest album, “Brat,” has launched the avant-garde pop star into a whole new stratosphere with near-unanimous critical acclaim. The record, which is a celebration of rave music balanced with moments of vulnerability, debuted at the second spot on the U.K.

Bowling For Soup have announced a 20th anniversary UK tour of their album ‘A Hangover You Don’t Deserve’, set to kick off next year.The band – comprised of Jaret Reddick, Chris Burney, Gary Wiseman and Rob Felicetti – will embark in early 2025 with a show on February 5 at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool. From there, they will make stops in Edinburgh, Manchester, Wolverhampton, Plymouth, Swansea, Nottingham, and Brighton.

Interpol have apologised for inadvertently copying another artist’s work for the poster for their forthcoming ‘Antics’ 20th anniversary tour.The tour poster resembles a painting by New York-based mural and studio artist Tony Sjöman, which he produced on commission. While not an exact replica, the noticeable similarities between the two led to a friend of Sjöman angrily pointing it out.“At first when I saw this amazing new tour poster from @interpol I jumped at the idea of my friend getting such a cool project to work on… as I reached out to @rubinartnyc / @tonysjoman with a picture he said where did you find this? I pointed him to the post and he let me know they flat out stole this artwork and repurposed it for their own marketing… they didn’t reach out, they didn’t ask for permission,” Sjöman’s friend wrote on Instagram.“As an art supporter and as a licensing professional… I am beyond disbelief they would do this.
