The Wanted star Tom Parker sadly passed away on Wednesday 29 March, after being diagnosed with brain cancer in 2020.The singer, 33, was told he had stage four glioblastoma after suffering a severe seizure in August 2020, and had been undergoing gruelling treatment, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy, ever since. Tom's beloved wife Kelsey, 32, announced the heartbreaking news on social media, with millions paying tribute to the star online.
Tom leaves behind his wife, as well as two year old daughter Aurelia and son Bodhi, one.The dad-of-two had previously opened up about how he planned to tell his two children he was ill. Speaking about telling his daughter Aurelia about his illness, Tom said: "Yes, and I’m sure if there is a right point we will talk to her about it. She’s still so young, though." Kelsey, who was pregnant with Bodhi at the time, revealed that Aurelia knew "something" was happening to her dad.
The mum-of-two said: "We were discussing this the other day and we said we will tell the kids, especially while Tom’s undergoing treatment. When we came back from the appointment in King’s College, where we had everything confirmed, Aurelia was being such a minx." Kelsey continued, adding: "We didn’t come in crying but she knew – she just picks up on moods.
