An inquest into the death of a woman who ran into the street on fire has been dramatically adjourned until April.
Nosheen Akhtar, 31, suffered horrific burns after being set on fire at her home in East Street, Bury, on July 23, 2021.
An inquest at Rochdale Coroner’s Court has heard that after running into the street ablaze, Ms Akhtar told paramedics that 'her husband threw liquid on her' before 'setting her on fire'. Other witnesses at the scene have claimed that Ms Akhtar told them she had set herself on fire.

But on the sixth day of evidence today (Tuesday), assistant coroner Lisa Judge suddenly announced that she was adjourning the inquest until April 3.
After calling all parties into court this afternoon, Ms Judge said she had taken the decision after receiving body-cam footage from police officers who had attended the scene.
During the inquest, Shamin Ahmed - a woman who tried to help Ms Akhtar after she ran into the street engulfed in flames - said she heard her say she 'wanted to give a statement' to police.
Ms Judge said that in order to determine what Ms Akhtar had said to police, she had asked for the audio on the footage to be 'enhanced' by an independent organisation.
"When that is received, I will obviously review it immediately and make a decision as to whether it is sufficient for my purposes," the coroner added.
Ms Judge said she would also be asking two police officers who attended the scene to give evidence when the inquest resumes.
The inquest has previously heard that in the months prior to her death, Ms Akhtar, who was also known as Sarah Hussain, had spoken to family and health professionals
