Some of the world’s biggest stars have come together to support the LGBTQ+ nightlife industry with a benefit concert.
In an effort to support LGBTQ nightlife workers affected by the coronavirus pandemic, the Stonewall Gives Back Initiative partnered with World of Wonder Productions for a live-stream concert on Thursday featuring Rufus Wainwright, Cyndi Lauper, Kristin Chenoweth, Troye Sivan and more. The event was hosted by Michelle Visage and Tyler Oakley, with proceeds going toward an emergency fund for industry workers.
The Stonewall Inn and World of Wonder Productions have announced “The Stonewall Inn Gives Back!,” a livestream concert event set to take place this Thursday, April 23 at 8 p.m. Eastern to benefit LGBTQ+ nightlife workers directly impacted by COVID-19.
