The National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) is a new organization launched by several independent music venues and promoters, along with Independent Venue Week, following the widespread cancellations of shows in the wake of COVID-19. Offering free membership to venues, the organization announced its goal to “fight for the survival of independent venues, their employees, artists, fans and their communities.”

Independent concert promoters and venue operators from across the U.S. are teaming to lobby Congress and the White House for federal aid to help club and theaters hurt by the coronavirus pandemic.
Bruce Springsteen, SZA, Bon Jovi, Halsey, and more artists will perform a benefit concert for the state of New Jersey to support its Pandemic Relief Fund. Organized with the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund (NJPRF), the at-home performances will be broadcast on local television, radio, and online via Apple Music and E Street Radio on SiriusXM. Other performers include Tony Bennett, Charlie Puth, Chelsea Handler, and more.

The James Bond movie, which is also Daniel Craig's last movie as the James Bond, has been pushed to November 2020. While we have to wait until later this year to know what's in store for Bond fans, Ana De Armas is spilling the tea on her character in the movie. The Knives Out star plays the Bond Girl CIA agent Paloma in Bond 25.
Janet Weiss and Sam Coomes are both self-isolating due to the coronavirus pandemic, but that doesn’t meant they aren’t working on new music for their band Quasi. They’ve started a new video series called “Quarantine Demos” where they share songs they recorded while recording in their respective basements.
