Tom Cruise has been confirmed as one of the stars to appear at the Coronation Concert on 7 May. The event, to crown the new King and Queen Consort, will take place in the grounds of Windsor Castle to round off the weekend's proceedings and is expected to be attended by 20,000 people. Cruise, Winnie the Pooh and Dame Joan Collins will appear in a series of pre-recorded sketches revealing little-known facts about the King.

Netflix on Tuesday announced the new animated films In Your Dreams and Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie, coming to the platform in 2024, also setting new voice cast for the fantasy adventure Nimona and offering new first-look stills from each of its animated titles debuting over the next 18 months, which you can view above and below.

Britain's Got Talent viewers were treated to a sweet moment where a mother gave up her audition so her daughter could sing, but the moment was soon slammed as 'fake'.

BBC Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts said “up yours cancer” after becoming the fastest woman to complete the London Marathon with a stoma bag.The 44-year-old, who began using a stoma bag in 2021 after surgery for bowel cancer, ran the race in three hours 30 minutes and 22 seconds and was awarded with a Guinness World Record at the end.The official Guinness World Record’s Twitter account shared a picture of the DJ with her certificate after the race, writing: “Adele Roberts completed the fastest marathon with an ileostomy (female) in 3:30:22. Congratulations, Adele!” Adele had a tiny replica medal made for her stoma, which she has named Audrey, which she shared in a video posted on her Instagram story.

Fans of Britain's Got Talent were left unimpressed as they accused the show of a 'fix' after a heartwarming mother-daughter audition. On Saturday night's episode of the show, Claire Connelly made the ultimate sacrifice for her daughter, as she told the judges that she in fact was giving up her audition so her 15 year old daughter Tia could take her place instead. Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic A touring production of the stage version of “The Bodyguard” was brought to a halt and canceled in Manchester, England on Friday night after patrons would not stop singing along with the musical’s songs, leading to house lights coming up during the climactic number “I Will Always Love You.” Two women were forcibly pulled out of the theater by security, and several police cars arrived to oversee the evacuation of the theater after what patrons on social media described as “fights in the aisles” and even “a mini-riot.” According to news reports out of Manchester and tweets from those inside the Palace Theatre, the show — based on the hit 1992 film — had already been temporarily halted once during the first act because of the disruptive audience sing-alongs, but was resumed. Later, though, with only about 10 minutes to go before the end, it was put on pause again while its star, Pussycat Dolls member Melody Thornton, attempted to sing the climactic song made famous in the movie by Whitney Houston, “I Will Always Love You,” over the sound of semi-tuneless howling coming from audience members. Thornton’s mic was cut mid-song, the house lights came up and offenders were evicted — struggling against being pulled out by their shoulders, in video footage captured by attendees — and the show was officially called off.
