It was kind of crazy the first season. I feel like, by the second season, we kind of got into the swing of things again, and it didn’t feel so weird, but for me, when I came back the first season, I feel like it took me a couple episodes to kind of figure out who the character is now that eight years have passed, and it just took a minute to get used to being back on the set and everything, but it was really exciting, and it’s been really fun getting to work with Nathan and Jerry again.NK: I think one of the most fun and like Miranda said intimidating things about coming back was figuring out how to give these characters a voice after so much life has happened to them.

The series follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.
