A brave mum in Ukraine made the agonising decision to send her 11-year-old son 750 miles through the war-torn country on his own. Júlia Pisecka Volodymyrivna, who was forced to stay behind to take care of her poorly mother, gave Hasan a note, his passport and wrote a number on the back of his hand before sending him on his way.
