But tragically, it was a common virus that caused his organs to shut down. Hudson had no fight left in him by the time enterovirus took over his body, causing him to lose his little life on August 4.
Devastated Georgia, 27, says the pain of seeing her baby die in her arms will never leave her.
“It was just so painful,” she said. “It’s a pain that I will never, ever forget.
“Your child is your world. It’s your world being taken from you within minutes.
“Hudson’s dad Saul had his hand on his chest until his heart stopped beating. It was so hard to see Saul suffering.”
Following his birth via caesarean on June 27, Hudson appeared to be a healthy baby boy.
He weighed 6lb 11oz and was soon allowed home with his family in Stockport.
But not long after he settled in, the newborn fell ill with suspected jaundice, which is the yellowing of the skin indicating an underlying health problem with the liver.
The tot was returned to Stepping Hill Hospital on July 1 where his health took a turn for the worse, prompting medics to rush him to Alder Hey Children's Hospital two days later.
Little Hudson was then placed into an induced coma for nine
