Nutella has long been the household name for hazelnut chocolate spreads - much like how Fairy are the go-to product for washing up liquid.
But there’s a new hazelnut chocolate spread that’s hit supermarket shelves of late, and I think it’s even better than its predecessor.
Bonne Maman are well known for their jams and conserves, producing a beautiful black cherry spread that I’ve enjoyed on a croissant on numerous occasions.
But now, they could well become known for having hazelnut chocolate spread better than Nutella.
Made with 20% hazelnuts and no palm oil, the glossy chocolate spread has been available in Sainsbury’s stores since November, costing £2.80 per 250g jar.
