‘I think this £3 eyebrow product is seriously underrated – it’s perfect for thick brows’

Even if I don't wear any make-up, I'll always do something to my brows, whether it's a simple brush up with a spoolie or a quick swipe with one of the best brow gels, pencils or pens. And this Maybelline product is one that I re-buy time and time again. Maybelline Brow Extensions Eyebrow Pomade is a chunky crayon with tiny fibres in the lead to add natural-looking colour and thickness, and it comes in six shades, from light blonde to black brown.
When it first launched, a lot of the OK! beauty team weren't convinced – and I kind of get why. It doesn't draw on precise hairs, and it doesn't give any lift or hold. But for my type of eyebrows, it's perfect for quickly and easier defining my brows.
Firstly, a disclaimer: I do have naturally quite good eyebrows.
Thanks to years of diligent RevitaBrow use they're thick and full, bar the odd gap, so I don't need to spend ages recreating them from nothing. However, I like them to look a little more even, defined and darker, which is why I always reach for Maybelline Brow Extensions. Far from creating chunky, unnatural-looking arches as you might expect from a crayon, it just adds a sheer layer of colour, making them look bigger and better.
I switch between shades 01 Blonde and 04 Medium Brown depending on the look I want and how tanned my skin is. My heavy brow hairs also require some extra-strong support, so after using this I'll set them in place with Refy Brow Sculpt, £16. For some reason, it's not very widely available.
I couldn't find it in any of my local stores, it's out of stock on the Boots website and only available in two shades on ASOS. Luckily, however, you can find all shades on Amazon – and at a hugely discounted price. Maybelline Brow Extensions usually costs
