A brand new family hub in Wythenshawe that will help support and offer advice to families and young people until they reach adulthood has opened.
The Crossacres Family Hub is one of the latest family hubs in Manchester to be announced, with similar hubs opening earlier in the summer in Longsight and Cheadle. The family hub will use a range of support and services to try and get families back on track.
Manchester currently has over 130,000 young individuals aged between the ages of zero and 19, the new family hubs will support the families in critical stages with adults aged up to 25 with special needs also being eligible.

The new family hubs will be targeting all aspects of family life to support health issues which include infant feeding, mental health support and to stop habits such as smoking.
The hubs will also target environmental issues around individuals such as education support, advice on jobs, skill training and other steps regarding being post-18.
The family hubs coming into Manchester are part of a larger plan operating over five years called Making Manchester Fairer and aims to address inequalities individuals grow up with including opportunities around work and housing.
Manchester is one of 14 other cities chosen nationally to receive extra funding from the government to help with family hubs around the city and other services including ‘Start for Life’.
