The camp on ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! isn't as rough as it seems. One aspect of the 'jungle' that isn't all that it seems is that it isn't actually a jungle at all.
The show is filmed in Springbrook National Park which, according to The Mirror, is defined by Tweed Shire Council instead as "lowland subtropical rainforest." It has also been revealed that the camp has a secret roof to protect recording equipment and feed the celebs when their Bushtucker Trial rewards arrive.
However, the 'roof' doesn't shield the campmates when they are sleeping underneath the Australian stars. A TV insider said: ""A lot of the camp is not under shelter - it’s not like the roof at Wimbledon." "Funny that when it's pouring down with rain the fire's still going and their hair's never wet #ImACeleb," one fan of the show has previously tweeted.
Another viewer mused: "The fact all the celebrities are completely dry when it's supposedly 'torrential rain' just shows how much of a set up it all is." Insiders have revealed the waterfall shower actually has an 'off switch' in order to turn the water supply off between 3pm until 6pm to conserve water. As I'm A Celebrity airs every year, the infamous shower often provides some iconic scenes - with former star Nicola McLean recently admitting she braved the cold water in a bid to secure more airtime on the show.
The treehouse cheeky Geordie duo Ant and Dec often share their hilarious jokes and commentary about the celebrities from appears to have a new orange canopy not seen when the show previously aired from Australia.
Alison Hammond shared some camp secrets as she looked back on her stint in the jungle back in 2010. The This Morning presenter was a late addition to the celebrity camp

The body is barely even cold, but some 24+ hours after Spyglass Media unceremoniously fired actress Melissa Barerra for comments they “interpreted” as being antisemitic (the words their PR used to describe their position), and Jenna Ortega quickly left the franchise citing “scheduling conflicts,” the company is already looking ahead to what’s next after the departure of both their lead actors. Ortega and Barrera, who played sisters in “Scream V” and “Scream VI,” helped revitalize the franchise, but without them, the series faces a creative problem.
Naman Ramachandran Jude Anthany Joseph, director of India’s international feature Oscar contender “2018,” has started work on his next film. The untitled investigative thriller is being written by the filmmaker alongside journalist Josy Joseph. The film is based on the true story of Kerala Shipping Corporation’s cargo ship MV Kairali that disappeared in 1979 with a crew of 49 and 20,000 tonnes of iron ore on board while sailing from Margao, India to Rostock, Germany, via Djibouti.
Scream” franchise lost two stars this week, putting the seventh film in the series in a creative conundrum, according to sources familiar with the project. Variety broke the news that Melissa Barrera was fired by Spyglass, the film’s producer, in recent days over social media messages that it deemed to be antisemitic (specifically, posts regarding the Israel-Hamas war). That decision was made after the company was notified that Jenna Ortega, whose star has risen considerably since she joined the beloved Wes Craven horror series, would not return due to a scheduling conflict with the second season of her smash Netflix hit “Wednesday.” Barrera and Ortega play sisters in the films.
