I'm A Celebrity… South Africa has released a dramatic first look at Friday's episode, where tempers flare in camp and the first eviction is teased. During the latest instalment on Thursday, Fatima Whitbread was left furious to discover that several of her campmates had smuggled contraband into camp.
During dinner, a Bush Bulletin arrived in camp as Georgia "Toff" Toffolo read out: "Celebrities, there is contraband in camp. You will not get your dinner until you’ve surrendered all contraband. There’s an amnesty bowl in the Telegraph." First to fess up was Gillian McKeith, who had smuggled mints, tea bags, almonds and salt into the jungle, using a clever "double bra" trick.
Next up was a sheepish Myleene Klass, who confessed to hiding seasoning in a hair scrunchie as she handed the salt over. The campmates then noticed that Paul Burrell was being awfully quiet, pointing out that he looked guilty, as he too admitted to having contraband as he had smuggled in a "tiny bit of coffee".
However, Fatima wasn't happy as she said: "Guys, I don't agree with letting people off the hook!", adding: "Rules are the rules, it's the principle!" To which Gillian fired back with: "Send me away then!" Fatima continued: "The rules are the rules, they've been broken and it shouldn't go unpunished whether we like it or not! We're all in it together. It shouldn't go unpunished!" The former record-breaking javelin thrower then walked away from camp before telling her campmates: "It's not about the individuals, it's about the rules being breached because I'm a principles person and I want to be true to myself.
