I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Star Grace Dent has reflected on criticising Nick Pickard after she said she'd rather 'jump out of a car' than watch her new campmate. The wait is almost over until Ant and Dec will be back on our screens and causing chaos for a bunch of brand new celebrities. Grace will be joined by Nick Pickard, Jamie Lynn Spears, Sam Thompson, Josie Gibson, Fred Sirieix, Nella Rose, Nigel Farage, Marvin Humes and Danielle Harold in the Australian jungle.
Grace could have an awkward run in with Hollyoaks legend Nick after she once criticised him in a review about his time on Celebrity Masterchef. Over a decade ago, in 2011, Grace referred to Nick as “him who plays Tony in Hollyoaks” in a review after Nick was seen gutting a fish on the cooking show. She wrote in the Guardian: “I'd as much choose to watch people badly gutting, scaling and de-braining animals on TV as I would gleefully jump out of a car on to the hard shoulder.
And if it's not bloody, it's just bloody awful.” Although she said she would rather “jump out of a car” than watch him, she told MailOnline ahead of facing him in the outback: “Anything I've ever said over the years is always just full of humour and silliness. I am a massive television fan. I'm a massive reality television fan.
So, anything I've ever said there's been in really, really good spirits, hopefully.” She added that the people “you see on television” are “different in real life” and that she will see the “real them” in the jungle as there is “nowhere to hide”. As the Masterchef star touched down in Australia earlier this week, she said: "My flight was amazing, I feel very well rested. I've eaten very well.
