As a beauty editor I'm lucky enough to be sent lots of lovely products to test out, but there's one skincare staple that I'll never be without and constantly rebuy myself – I'd go as far as to say it's one of the very best moisturisers. The product in question is Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré, a cult classic French pharmacy face cream that's a must-have for many make-up artists and celebrities such as Raye and Michelle Keegan, and often used to prep the A-listers' skin before red carpet make-up looks.
It's available from a number of retailers, including LookFantastic and Boots, but I've found the cheapest place to buy it (and I'll certainly be stocking up). * Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré, £14.95 from Amazon (was £20) There are a couple of different sizes available to buy on Amazon, with packaging that varies slightly, but currently the best value is a 75ml tube of Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré – it usually costs £20 but is currently reduced by 25% to £14.95 as part of Amazon's Premium Beauty Week, running from 16-22 April.
Alternatively you can buy a tube for £8.99 (reduced from £9.49) – although it's worth flagging that this is only 30ml – and there are a few other sizes available too. As part of my job, I've dipped in and out of lots of different moisturisers over the years, but this is one I always come back to because I know that it's just really great on my skin.
As its name suggests, it has a thin, milky consistency but one that also feels quite rich in nourishing oils. It leaves my skin looking really dewy and glowy, but because the texture is so runny (almost like water), it doesn't sit on the and potentially block pores.
