A woman is living proof that age is just a number.
Remeaise Irish-Downes was a retired gran before her life changed forever. Videos of her incredible dancing skills went viral on TikTok – and people couldn't get enough of her!
The clip that started it all showed the 65-year-old living her best life at the London Marathon. She turned up in a leopard print leotard and fur coat, with a megaphone in tow.
Then to give runners some much-needed motivation, she blasted tunes out of a boom box and busted a move. Remeaise was spotted dancing to "Pump up the Jam'" – much to the delight of cheering crowds.
Her TikTok videos have since amassed a whopping quarter of a million views, with people raving about her "fabulous energy", and dubbing her the "best cheerleader ever".
Remeaise exclusively said: "I grew up listening to Drum n Bass so I've loved music for as long as I can remember. I used to have Pump up the Jam on in my aerobics class back in the day!
"When my jam is on I just can't stand still – I can't help but get up and dance to it, and I think as I've got older I've grown in confidence, and just love to get out there and have a good time.
"I love bright colours, love having a good time and just living my best life. I was at Luton Carnival yesterday dancing for the whole day!
"My son designs the costumes and it's such an amazing day. This year was the first year we went green as well, setting the bar high in a little town. It tipped it down and we all got soaked, but I just carried on dancing until the rain stopped."
Spotting her performance on social media, Jam Shed wines were eager to sign her to the brand as a "perfect embodiment of their unapologetically different ethos".
Remeaise didn't expect to be such an internet
